For 10 points and a command slot this upgrade allows you to pull a second random oder token after pulling a random order token from the pool and then selecting one of the two to use. This upgrade does exhaust to use, but it un-exhausts itself at the end of every turn without having to ready.
At 10 points Improvised Orders is of average cost for a command upgrade slot, however its incredibly useful. Often when pulling from a random order pool you will have mainly the same type of unit in the bag (often corps troops), however you will also have some other types mixed in depending on what command card you used and what type of list composition you have. This upgrade increases your chances of activating a unit without a faceup order at a key time.
This upgrade is highly reccomended. It allows you to increase your chances of pulling the unit you need at the time you need it, or more consistently to put back a token that you would rather save until later in the round. Because this card readies itself and because of how important order of activations is this card is incredibly beneficial. It should also be noted that it is not unique, so while each unit with a matching upgrade slot can only have one, you can have more than one on throughout your list.
